It is funny how people love things that stay the same while loving things that are different and artificial Intelligence has made that more visible than ever. For example, in school you will find teachers who believe Artificial Intelligence applications like ChatGPT are making students less capable because the students find shortcuts to assignments and other teachers saying it’s a good idea to allow students to learn with AI tool because it enables them to do more with less. Both have valid points. But the real question is why is AI being developed?

We are in a situation where the biggest companies of the world are working on creating AI technologies for public use. Artificial Intelligence has always been a hot topic within businesses, but this was for efficiency purposes. Now we are seeing the commercial implementations for consumers to use and the question here is, are these developments for good or bad?

There are many concerns. Negative and positive. Some people are wondering how best to use AI to make a profit or to become a market leader and others are worried about the negative impacts of developing AI and The way it is used. The medical field may be better facilitated or but this can be said for weapon innovation sectors. The entertainment sector is already being changed in new ways. With AI being able to recreate living and dead artists and it seems like this is the beginning of a new era and artificial Intelligence may create opportunities for different people or organizations. One thing is for sure. AI is bringing about a new tomorrow and who knows what this Pandora box may open.
